Just a quick update to say I’ve manage to find some info on another site about different types of Beat Making Software – they can be divided into 4 categories. I’ve ripped the article and changed a few things on it – check it out here.

Day 5 – Money to be made
After chatting to one of the developers of possibly the best beat making software for semi-pros & beginners a like I was pretty excited.
As you can guess I’m not only going to start producing my own beats for friend and family to hear. I want to expose my raw talent to a much larger audience. Now I’ve been uploading some of my beats to youtube with instructions on how to make beats.
There is no reason why you can’t get in on the action to – the software is dirt cheap and will pay for itself after only a few beats. You see you can sell your beats online and make money. What’s even better is that they are running a contest on beat making online.
Now I may enter the contest there is about $5k up for grabs (£3.8k) which is no small sum. If I can win that then I could get myself a complete pro DAW system. I’m not going to jump the gun though I’ve only been doing this 5 days.
Even if I don’t win I can be in with a chance next year of winning what’s even more exciting is I’ll get to see what type of competition I’m up against stay tuned for some covert blogs on the other guys.

Making some beats Day4
I managed to contact the guy that produced this awesome beat maker software on an internet marketing forum. He was nice enough to return my private message and give me some pointers with the software. The training videos are helping me along big time.
I’m pretty lame when it comes to music and playing instruments – but the training videos included with the beat making software really push your imagination. I’m almost ready to show off my beats to my friends – imagine what you could do to.
Dubturbo first impressions….Day 3
I’ve almost made a track like THIS below, and the tutorial videos they give you are awesome so you can pause/play and copy what the host does otherwise I’d be lost in music theory land for a good year figuring out proper structure for hiphop beats, then house beats, then reggae beats… they break it down really nice
Day 2 what I’ve learnt!
Well it’s day 2 of my beat maker software. Now I’m trying to sell this software to you guys because it’s worth every penny in gold! Trust me on this. Now I was thinking – I need to proove it to you. So I whipped out my beat making software and layed down some rap beats and a mix of other jungle drum samples amounst other stuff.
Anyway here is my youtube video – only after 24 hours of learning this beat making software!!!!
New website
I’m pretty stoked to announce my super uber new website “Beat Making Blog” – it’s pretty much a blog style website about my adventure into making beats for my youtube videos, covering everything from Rap, hip hop, garage, dance, trance, rave! The list is endless with this software.
For the price of an XBOX game you can get your hands on some very power software to make music beats and tracks/samples on your PC or MAC. Now what makes this software so powerful is that it’s full wav RAW sound not trashy MP3 compressed junk so when you lay that beat down on a music video/CD/DVD/You tube video you are going to get studio sound quality out of your computer. All you have to do is come up with the vocals or/and the video!
What I am so excited about with this software is the fact that I don;t even know how to play music instruments and have no keyboards/midi devices or expensive sound cards. Just my laptop/PC and a lot of imagination is all you really need to make some killer beats and impress the ladies.
